Anubis & Bastet - Logo Design

Bastet Animated Logo - Personal Work:
Colors taken from images of Bastet's human and cat forms. Black cat is usually the symbol for Egyptian cats, and the colors include Egyptian gold for the rings on the cats tail, black to keep it simple and relate to the symbolism of the goddess/Egyptian cats, and red for the background taken from some depictions of Bastet's inner ear. The icon above the head is called a Sistrum and is always depicted with Bastet. In terms of design it helps lead the viewer's eye through the logo. The sans serif font choice leans towards the stylization of the design.
Anubis Logo - Personal Work
Anubis is usually depicted as a jackal-headed man, or as a jackal, and I decided to go with a jackal adorning Egyptian accessories to signify Anubis. Colors derived from popular interpretations of Anubis & the original art. Shapes are more triangular since Anubis controls more serious, dangerous aspects in Egyptian mythology. The sans serif font choice leans towards the stylization of the design.
